The Master in Quantitative Finance and Banking is a 2-year full-time program organized by the University of the Basque Country jointly with the University of Castilla-La Mancha and University of Valencia. The Master responds to the need to provide professionals with high quality training on quantitative finance techniques. Our graduates will acquire skills to undertake evaluation, management and advising tasks on financial issues. After completing the Master degree, students have the possibility of joining our doctoral program that has been awarded a quality mention by the Spanish Ministry of Education.

The Master in Economics: Empirical Applications and Policies is a one year full-time research program organised in Bilbao by The Department of Foundations of Economic Analysis II at The University of the Basque Country with the cooperation of invited lecturers and visiting faculty members from other universities and research institutions. Our students seek to specialize in the empirical analysis of specific markets: labour market, monetary market and energy markets and their connection to natural resources and environmental issues. After completing the Master degree, students have the possibility of joining our doctoral program that has been awarded a quality mention by the Spanish Ministry of Education

 

PhD in Quantitative Economics and Finance

 

The doctorate has arisen from the merging of two doctorates awarded Quality Certifications by the Ministry of Education (Doctorate in Banking and Quantitative Finances and Doctorate in Economic Analysis and Policies). The Doctoral Program is inter-universitary (Complutense University of Madrid, University of Castilla-La Mancha, University of Valencia, University of the Basque Country). The academic activity of the Departments taking part in the program includes periodical research seminars and courses which doctoral students must attend as part of their research training.
