AIMS

1. To carry out research aiming at promoting social studies on Science, Technology and Innovation from a focus on networks.

2. To develop methodologies for the study of network systems in Science, Technology and Innovation, considering diverse types of networks: knowledge networks, social networks, innovation networks, and political networks between different kinds of actors: social actors (NGOs, Foundations, Unions, other social organisations), enterprises and business organisations, universities, research and teaching centres, State and regional government and public administration sectors.

3. To promote the academic strengthening of the Doctorate Programme in Philosophy, Science, Technology and Society in the UPV/EHU.

4. To manage and participate in academic and social networks related to Science, Technology and Innovation by means of design and carry out research, and social liaison programmes of intermediate duration (3 years) to disseminate and promote social perspectives in STI.
