• Spain has adopted a 4+1 schema, i.e., 240 ECTS credits in 4 years of study for undergraduate, and 60 ECTS credits in 1-1/12 years for Master courses

The European Credit Transfer System allows syllabi to be easily recognized. The University of the Basque Country applies the IKD (Cooperative and Dynamic learning) method.
