It is located in the Science and Tecnology Faculty, in the Campus of Leioa, and in the Pharmacy Faculty, in the Campus of Vitoria-Gasteiz

It is in charge of the Applied Mathematics branch and the Statistics and Operations Research branch

With the Mathematics Department, it teaches the majority of the subjects of the Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, as well as the subjects of General Mathematics in the rest of the University degrees in the Science and Tecnology Faculty and in the Pharmacy Faculty
