Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the International Symposium on Metal Complexes ISMEC2010-Bilbao (XXI Italian-Spanish Congress on Thermodynamics of Metal Complexes, XXXVI Annual Congress of "Grupo di Termodinamica dei Complessi") will take place in Bilbao (Basque Country, North of Spain) from 7 till 11 June 2010. This meeting has taken place every year in June for nearly forty years. Created in its time by a number of researchers interested in studies on metal complex formation, nowadays is focused on different aspects of Analytical, Biomedical,  Environmental, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. The congress mainly aims to provide a valuable discussion forum on recent advances on the above mentioned areas and will provide an unique opportunity for exchanging knowledge on leading edge developments in these and related fields.

The venue of the congress has been set in the Zubiria Etxea (Zubiria House) located on a nice park besides the School of Economics of the University of the Basque Country.

On this website we will try to provide all the necessary information about this Symposium in order to make your stay in Bilbao as pleasant as possible. Besides, in Bilbao you will have the opportunity of tasting the famous Basque gastronomy and the wines from the country, visiting the famous Guggenheim Museum and enjoying the green landscapes and seaside of the Basque Country.
