> From wupsalaa@bi.ehu.es Fri May 28 00:02 MDT 2004 Date: Fri, 28 May 2004 07:57:56 +0200 (MET DST) From: Agustin Sanchez Subject: GRS-BA Interaction Dear all, Attached is the longitude drift lines in System III of white oval BA and the GRS prepared from observations sent to the IOPW by S. Pérez-Hoyos and some students of our astronomy course. As you can see, the BA northern edge will start its interaction with the southern GRS around 2 July. This will be the first transit of both anticyclones since the BA generation by merging. We urge to make observations in order to measure, as detailed as possible, such interaction: velocity, latitude and morphology changes of both objects during transit, and even possible disruption of BA. Good observations Agustín Sánchez-Lavega IOPW - Atmospheres Discipline Leader **************************************************** Agustín Sánchez Lavega Dpto.
