I have enjoyed 2-3 nights of near perfect seeing this week, and have been able to exploit this opportunity, to gain some detailed images of the GRS area with SSTC ovals, and NEBn White Spot Z, B1 & B6 area. Last night's image was taken very late (due to clouds), and Jupiter had almost disappeared over my roof, out of view. I also note that Callisto shows some detail on the Feb 19th image. Ganymede has also shown details visually. Of interest, is the zone following AWO 5. It seems to have a slight red colouration to it. Also, the streak of STB south of the GRS does seem to be broken up at its f. end. I still have many sessions from this month to send, and will do so next week. The SEBs jetsream shows some interesting activity in last nights image. Best Wishes Damian ------------------------------------------------------------ JUPITER IMAGES, FEBRUARY 19-20th, 2003. D. A.
