Hi all, Here are some Jupiter images from Jan 28th and 29th. All were obtained with the ST-5c, apart from the "rgb.jpg" image from the 29th, obtained with the webcam. I think i prefer to use the ST-5c, as its images have better S/N ratio, which shows well in the many small spots that can be followed + the processing is much less tiring!. I also include a projection map showing most of the Planet from the images. Its interesting to note how the NTB has now completely faded away around the GRS longitude, while some remnant of it remains toward Oval BA. The dusky grey North Tropical Band can also be followed around the Planet. Also note some SEBs jetstream activity on the 29th. The weather has now become very windy, so its unlikely more will be possible until my weekend excursion to the observatories here.
