Date: Thu, 28 Mar 2002 03:35:37 -0000 Hi all, Here are some images from this evening. As the oval merger wasnt visible this evening, good seeing of course prevailed!. Images clearly show B5 and B6, as well as streaks across the STZ. Also note the nice blue NEBs feature. Also find attached an image of Ganymede, this time showing Galileo Regio at CML=3D160 degs. I used the camera in a small sub frame mode to obtain 3 frames/sec for this image (which is composed of 18 x 0.20secs. Please find the data attached. Hopefully conditions will hold up for the GRS area tomorrow night. Best Wishes Damian JUPITER IMAGES, MARCH 27th, 2002. D. A. Peach, Rochester, Kent, UK. 12" (30.5cm) Meade SCT @ f/29.1. I am suprised so much can still be recorded given the Planet is so much smaller now!.These were obtained during a period of very good seeing. Note the tiny white oval in the STB streak, and also detail witin B-6, namely it seems to consist of two dark spots.
