> From a.cidadao@mail.telepac.pt Mon May 6 11:58 MDT 2002 Date: Mon, 06 May 2002 18:54:06 +0100 From: Antonio Cidadao Subject: Jupiter data (May 03,05) Hi all, These images were obtained under strong wind and bad seeing (bad transparency also in May05). On both sessions a NEB rift is seen at about L2 360. Immediately s. of it a NEBs projection (very dark in IR and VERY elongated) can be seen. It is possible that this NEB rift is slightly methane-bright since a thin bright line is seen between the bright EZ and the slightly darker projection (in methane). Also in the methane band, BA and the STrZ oval were seen, the latter slightly p. and N of BA. On both sets of images, the recently merged SSTC oval and the oval preceeding it are seen. BA is poorly defined, namely on its p. side, most probably due to seeing. Also due to seeing I would not like to interpret the slightly elongated shape of the STrZ oval in methane. Best seeing to all Antonio
