It was passing the GRS on Jan.8. The appearance in IR wavebands is still impressive. In visible light, it was very inconsopicuous before passing the GRS as expected (though well shown in the Cassini images). After passing the GRS, there is still no conspicuous rift, but a notable colour contrast in Don Parker's images between a pre-existing blue SEB component p. the main complex and a dark brown SEB(N) component which replaces it f. the main complex.
