Hi all,

Winds finally eased a little last night and allowed images . Still poor conditions unfortunately, but Oval BA's dark rim still seems faded.

INFORMATION FOR JUPITER IMAGES, DECEMBER 07th, 2000.

D. A. Peach, King's Lynn, Norfolk, UK.
12" (30.5cm) Meade SCT @ f/21.0. ST-5c camera.
SBIG RGB Filter set.

Total Exposure Times:

Red Light (+ IR Rejection): 2.97secs
Green Light (+ IR Rejection): 2.97secs
Blue Light (+ IR Rejection): 4.50secs

Seeing very poor-poor (2-4), moderate fast turbulence.
Transparency very good (4.5mag), increasing haze late.
Wind blustery (S-SW, 5-15mph.)
