X-Sender: cidadao@mail.telepac.pt Date: Sun, 10 Dec 2000 02:17:21 +0000 From: Antonio Cidadao Subject: Jupiter data (December 03, 08, 09) Hello all, Here are my latest Jupiter images, obtained between showers and after the storm that recently passed over Portugal on its way to the UK. All images show the GRS, and those from Dec 03 and 08 show the STrZ oval. BA, as well as the small white spot that folows it, are visible in Dec 08 images. Dec 03 and 08 show what sems to be a NNTB darker segment evolving. NEB (all images) shows numerous features, namely rifts exhibiting small white clouds, and dark barges. Please notice the EZs elongated bluish feature that follows the GRS in Dec 08 and 09 images. Also notice what seems to be a NEBn bluish oval structure visible in Dec 09 images (visible in last RGB images, that also show Io in transit, and approaching CM in 01:02 UT red image; appearing to have a brighter center?). This structure also seems to be visible in Nov 30 images sent earlier. Regards to all and good observations! Antonio p.s. sorry for the large attachments
