We plane the publication of the Proceedings of the Congress.

Conference fee

The participation fee (after April 30, 2000) is 20.000 pesetas (120 Euros or 140 USD). For students, the reduced participation fee is 10.000 pesetas (60 Euros or 70 USD).

The Meeting will take place in the buildings of Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales (Avenida Lehendakari Agirre 83, Bilbao). We suggest that all participants stay in nearby Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno (Avenida Lehendakari Agirre 140). The lunch and supper for all participants will be served in Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno.

If you want to share a room with somebody in Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno, please indicate this to the Travel Agency VIAJES ECUADOR. And if we have arranged yet to share a room with somebody participating in the Congress, give this person's name to the Travel Agency.

Participants are advised that there will be several congresses and trade fairs at around the same date, so arrangements should not be left until the last minute.

How to get to the Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno:

• If you arrive via Sondika Airport in Bilbao, there are various possibilities:
  • BY BUS: there exists a service of buses with the route Bilbao-Airport-Bilbao.

    COMPANY: BIZKAIBUS

    NUMBER of the bus: A-3247

    DEPARTURES FROM BILBAO (Arenal-Sendeja). This bus runs every 40 minutes from 6,00 to 22,30, and stops at Avenida Lehendakari Aguirre 142 (close to Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno).

    DEPARTURES FROM SONDIKA (Airport). This bus runs every 40 minutes from 6,40 to 23,05, and stops at Avenida Lehendakari Aguirre 135 (in front of Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno).

    FARE: 140 pesetas (less than 1 USD).
    

  • BY TAXI: the taxi fare from the airport to Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno is about 2.000 pesetas (about 12 USD).

  • IMPORTANT: On Sunday 17, there will be volunteers at the airport to help the participants in the congress.
  
  

• If you arrive via Bus Station Termibus:

  The main bus terminal in Bilbao (Termibus) is in Garellano) near the San Mames Football Stadium. An easy way of travelling from the Bus Terminal to the Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno is to take the Metro Underground Railway . The "SAN MAMES" underground station is close to the Bus Terminal. You should get off at "SARRIKO" station, which is near Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno. The fare is 140 pesetas (less than 1 USD).
  

• If you arrive via Railway Train Station:

  ABANDO RAILWAY STATION is in the centre of Bilbao, by Plaza Circular. There is an entrance to the underground railway from the Railway Station itself. You should get off at "SARRIKO" station, which is near Colegio Mayor Miguel de Unamuno. The fare is 140 pesetas (less than 1 USD).
