OUR PROJECT: EMUNDUS20
The EMUNDUS20 project leaded by Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea was approved in Novermber of 2009. EMUNDUS20 will cover 149 individual mobilities and the European Commission will found the project with 3,142,475 Euros.
117 students and academic staff from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua will benefit from this project performing a period of mobility in one of the European universities belonging to the consortium, while 30 European beneficiaries will spend their mobility period in one of the South American partner universities.
The EMUNDUS20 grants cover mobilities in all study levels: Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post-doctorate and Academic Staff. Priority areas of study are: Agricultural Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Mathematics and Informatics, Architecture and Urban Planning, Medical Sciences, Teacher Training and Social Sciences, but also students and staff from other study areas may eventually benefit from an EMUNDUS20 grant.

Target Group 1 Students and Academic Staff registered in one of the partner universities belonging to the consortium.

Target Group 2 Nationals of México, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua enrolled in (or having obtained a university degree from) a Higher Education Institution of these countries that is not part of the consortium.

Target Group 3 Nationals of México, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua in a particularly vulnerable situation due to political, social or economical reasons or to a physical handicap.
