MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE EMUNDUS20 MOBILITY PROGRAMME
Beneficiaries
Candidates belonging to one of the following target groups can be selected for an EMUNDUS20 grant:

Target Group 1: Students and Academic Staff registered in one of the partner universities belonging to the consortium.

Target Group 2: Nationals of Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua enrolled in (or having obtained a university degree from) a Higher Education Institution of these countries that is not part of the consortium.

Target Group 3: Nationals of Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua in a particularly vulnerable situation due to political, social or economical reasons or to a physical handicap.
South American beneficiaries will perform their mobility period in one of the European partner universities. European beneficiaries will carry out their academic mobility in one of the South American universities of the consortium.
Amount of the grant
EMUNDUS20 includes travel and insurance costs and a monthly allowance of:
- 1.000€ for Undergraduate and Master
- 1.500€ for Doctorate
- 1.800€ for Post-doctorate
- 2.500€ for Academic Staff
Duration of the mobility
- Beneficiaries from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua
Undergraduate: 10 months
Master: 10 - 20 months
Doctorate: 10 - 20 months
Post-doctorate: 6 - 10 months
Academic Staff: 1 month
- European beneficiaries
Undergraduate: 10 months
Master: 6 months
Doctorate: 10 months
Post-doctorate: ---
Academic Staff: 1 month
Academic Recognition
Participating in EMUNDUS20 ensures the mutual recognition of all credits performed in partner institutions within the consortium.
Priority Study Areas
Although candidates from other areas may be selected for an EMUNDUS20 grant, those belonging to following study areas will have priority:
- Agricultural Sciences
- Engineering, Technology
- Architecture, Urban plannig
- Mathematics and Informatics
- Medical Sciences
- Education, Teacher Training
- Social Sciences
