Dr. Luis Badosa Conill (Sant Joan les Fonts, Gerona, 1944)

University professor of Painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV/EHU.
Doctorate in Fine Arts by the University of the Basque Country.
Professor of Drawing (specialties Painting and Sculpture) by the Fine Arts “San Jorge” of Barcelona.
Extraordinary prize “Termination of University Studies” of the City council of Barcelona.
Corresponding academician of the Academia de Bellas Artes Santa Isabel de Hungría, Seville.
Honorary member of the APColor, (School of Architecture of the UTL).
He has published its Thesis on Art and Industry. Influence of the industrial forms in the Art of the S.XX (1900 - 1945) which is being re-published as a CD on its life and paintings (Doctoral Thesis of C.G. Sobrino, 1996).
He has made more than 50 individual exhibitions of its work, among them it is worthwhile to emphasize those made in Portugal between1989 and 1999.
It is represented in several Museums: Museo Reina Sofía, Madrid, Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao,in Bilbao Museum of Fine Arts of Vitoria, in Vitoria, and the Contemporary Art Museum of Villafamés (Castellón), Museo Comarcal de la Garrotxa, Olot (Gerona), as well the portuguese Museum of Setúbal and the EPAL of Lisbon..
