Uniqueness for the vacuum Einstein equations

The pioneering work of Y. Choquet-Bruhat on the Cauchy problem
in general relativity assumed uniqueness for a reduced system (fixing
the gauge with wave coordinates), and all subsequent works had left
this question open. We will present results closing this gap and
explain how uniqueness up to diffeomorphism is a direct consequence
of the geometric structure of the equations.
