In this talk, we will consider a complex Ginzburg-Landau equation on the plane, corresponding to a Gross-Pitaevskii equation with a small damping term. We will study an asymptotic regime in which the solutions exhibit point singularities (vortices), for which we will derive the motion law up to the first collision time.
