I am a PhD student of Linguistics in the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and I studied Basque Studies (2006-2010) and Linguistics (2010-2012) in the same university. I defended my Master Thesis “What lies behind differential object marking: a survey in Basque dialects” in July 2012, and in order to develop the theoretical aspect of my thesis, I did a stay in New York University (NYU) under the supervision of Richard S. Kayne from September to November 2012. At the moment, I am writing my dissertation “Differential Object Marking in Basque syntax. A microcomparative survey” under the supervision of Beatriz Fernández (UPV/EHU).
