The bilingual mind: acquisition, perception, processing and representation.

We investigate the way in which bilinguals perceive and process their languages, and the way in which these languages are represented in their minds. We study various types of Basque/Spanish bilinguals, differing in ages of acquisition and proficiency, combining methods from theoretical linguistics and experimental psycholinguistics, and exploring the main components of grammar (phonology, lexicon, morphology, syntax).
