Main Topics
Priority at the Conference will be given to those subjects most
closely related to the spirit of Alfred Gray's work: special Riemannian
manifolds, homogeneous spaces, complex structures, symplectic manifolds,
geometry of geodesic spheres and tubes and related problems, geometry of
surfaces, computer graphics in differential geometry and Mathematica ®.

List of participants
The following people have already expressed an explicit interest in attending the Congress. The current list of possible participants are available on the Word Wide Web
Submission of abstracts
For submission of abstracts we have decided to use facilities of Atlas
Mathematical Conference Abstracts. If you wish to present an oral communication or a
poster, please submit before May 31, 2000, an extended (up to two pages)
abstract (either plain ASCII or TeX) via
If the Organizing Committee accept your oral communication or your poster, your abstract will become avaible to every-one via
We plan the publication of the Proceedings of the Congress.
Conference fee
The participation fee is 15.000 pesetas (90 Euros or 100 USD) if
you pay it before April 30, 2000. After this date, the participation fee is
20.000 pesetas (120 Euros or 140 USD).
For students, the reduced participation fee is 10.000 pesetas (60
Euros or 70 USD).
It should be paid by a Transfer Bank to Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa
Mark all remittances "International Congress on Differential
Geometry in memory of Alfred Gray".
Support
We hope to be able to support participants from countries in
a difficult economic situation and young mathematicians.
IBERIA will be the official carrier for the Congress, and
has
offered the following special terms:
For Congress participants:
25 % discount on full rate (Business & Tourist class) for
domestic, European and intercontinental flights with final destination
Bilbao
and return. On European flights the PEX fare, and on intercontinental
flights
the Excursion rate, may be applied without conditions, subject to
availability
of seats. This offer applies only to closed tickets with IBERIA issued by
Iberia
ticket offices or the Official Travel Agency:
Tickets will be valid from two days before to two days after the
congress dates.
For the Organizing Committee and guest speakers:
30 % discount on full rate (Business & Tourist class) for

Bilbao
and return. On European flights the PEX fare, and on intercontinental
flights
the Excursion rate, may be applied without conditions, subject to
availability
of seats. This tickets must be purchased from Iberia offices.
Up to 8 pre-congress tickets on these terms may be purchased
from
Iberia ticket offices by the Organizing Committee on the International
Congress
on Differential Geometry.
Passengers wishing to take up these offers must prove their
participation in the congress. All the Iberia tickets issued for this
Congress
must bear an ID code. Participants who need this code can obtain it from
the
Official Travel Agency or the Organizing Committee.
